Went on a Friday for early dinner shortly after they opened.
I wonder the fish tacos, which where more of a fish wrap. Batter was good and the fish and fries were tasty. We also had the "jumbo" shrimp. However, as you can see from the photo, there's nothing jumbo about those shrimp.
The waitress was nice but was the only one for a Fri as it got busier and busier causing a delay in getting utensils, boxes and the check. Overall it was average.

Attended a comedy show and had the best time ever. The restaurant is very cozy and food was amazing. Great place for happy hour. The owner and the staff are very friendly and pleasant. Super friendly atmosphere. Great crowd. My husband and I will definitely be back on a weekly basis.

visited there while camping at Blackbird State Forest. it was a real gem to find in DE or anywhere for that matter. i know people in the washington metro area that would travel there just for the down-home laid-back vibes from the establishment.
i would suggest to the management that they offer a list of drinks - it would be beneficial to the customers and would give an opportunity for some signature cocktails that could make y'all more money :) oh, and please toss the onion rings :(
can't wait to go back!!

I was very disappointed, being from Brooklyn and knowing Caribbean cuisine, the oxtails and rice peas had no flavor, the presentation when the food arrived did not look appetizing, we ordered the nachos and oh brother, once again no flavor and the cheese tasted like cheese whatever was on it, the beef had no flavor. The staff and the owner were very nice and customer service was great but the food or chef in the kitchen need lots of help. The food lack spices and proper seasoning.

Let's give a real review about this restaurant. Having been born an raised in new york I was pressed to find good soul food in this area. I have eaten at this place 2 times and on the first time I do not recommend the curry chicken. It's undercooked and has no curry flavor. The oxtails are good depending on what day you go. Do not order the so called beef fajitas because it is nothing but a little bland ground beef in a tortilla wrap ( pics below). I'm giving a 3 star for decent atmosphere and being able to use discount coupons for the food. I support them because they are black owned but I feel they can do better than what they have been serving. That Blue mountain curry chicken needs to be better. I feel people should go and decide for themselves and look for the discount coupons to offset the price just in case you are disappointed. The fries were also undercooked and cold with this BEEF FAJITA.
