The co reviewer and I have always wanted to check out the entire property and dine here as well.
The building and grounds are beautiful and extremely well maintained.
The views are spectacular, IF you are into that whole panoramic ocean view fad!
The service was very good and the restaurant was as clean and comfortable as you would expect from such a first class resort.
The Makers Mark manhattan’s were good and the cola’s were bottled and not fountain!
The chowder was tasty. The dinners selections we had that day was the steak and chicken Milanese. Both meals were tasty and served hot.
The dessert was an odd deconstructed chocolate sundae? It paired well with a cup of tea.
Overall it was a nice change.

Old school, but an absolute delight. I'd put The Bistro at the Ocean House in the top 3 fine restaurants of Rhode Island.
