Excellent food. The burger was especially good. Nice outside seating area, plenty of tables and a large lawn with games available. Also, some good specials. Large parking lot a half block away.

Tried this spot for the first time tonight. I liked the food and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I had the fish and chips along with Irish nachos. Both were tasty and satisfying. The best dishes of the night though were ordered by my wife. She had the French onion soup and she loved it. Her Cobb salad was also excellent, I would definitely recommend trying both those things.

Stopped here for late lunch early dinner. One of a few Bennington VT restaurants open between 3-5 PM. Nice local tavern just off RT 9 or RT 279. They have an above average selection of draft beers. I like the Bells Porter. Started off with Fried Green Bean Appetizer that was really good with a spicy dipping sauce. Next, we got Chicken Parm Hero and a Tuesday special Turkey BLT. Both sandwiches were very good. Plenty of Turkey in the BLT. We were able to park on River Street on side of tavern. Looks like there is only on Street parking.

5 stars for service, atmosphere (wood grained everything), clean, huge portions, reasonably priced fresh sandwiches (Reuben and turkey club excellent). 4 star Pasta was ok, onion rings oily.
