Atmosphere was not my vibe. When I was there on a Monday evening the crowd was early 20's and quiet. I like a "busier" bar scene with a more classic music choice that gets people mouthing the words and tapping their feet. The German Platter & dessert was very good! Great outside seating area. If you like a quiet bar/restaurant scene with good food, you should like this place. Service was a little slow but not bad.

They have a menu with tons of British food and it's easy to find a gluten free, vegetarian, or vegan option. They have a huge tea menu, amazing crumpets, great beer on tap, and a really fun trivia night. I make sure everyone I meet has at least been here once.

Relaxed atmosphere.. good watering hole.. 1st time there, Jess took good care of my friend and myself.. very knowledgeable of her craft behind the bar. Will definitely go back.

We ordered a dessert and appetizer to come out first and then two entrees. We got the desert but weren't given silverware and napkins until the appetizer and one entree came out. We never did get the second entree but didn't get charged for it either. The food was good but the service was lacking.

Yes, the fish and chips really are that good. My favorite thing on the menu (so far!) is the Cornish pasty. I ask for extra gravy and I'm in heaven. But everything I've had from Mucky Duck is cooked well, hot, seasoned nicely, and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and very helpful; I've ordered take out a few times and they've been accommodating to having the meals prepared at specific times, and have the food ready quickly for ASAP pickups. The food also keeps very well during the ride home, which is a bonus.
The pub itself is clean, and there's a patio for when the weather is nice. They have a variety of teas and drinks, and the specials are good. I'm probably going to order another pasty for my third lunch in a row.
