I would give it 100 stars if I could. Everything about this restaurant is just wonderful. The food is delicious. Staff are friendly and timely without being overbearing. I was impressed that our waiter offered detail on flavor profiles from the menu. Second line music playing made it feel like a party. Everything we ordered was fantastic but, if you like Collard Greens - The Nest and Cuckoo's Nest are the place to get them. No where else in The Capital District comes close.

We absolutely loved everything about our experience at The Nest! We ordered the salmon and halibut entrees and shared some biscuits with honey butter, burnt end pork belly, and fried green tomatoes. Each dish was beautifully made and tasted delicious. I would honestly say the same for the cocktails, having thoroughly enjoyed my Old Square. The staff were attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. I wish we lived closer, this would be a regular go-to for us!

This is one of the best meals I’ve ever had! I got a short rib sandwich with egg, cheese, and truffle, potatoes on the side, and a hazelnut iced coffee with oat milk. The flavor of everything was incredible! Portions were perfect. Atmosphere is great. Staff was very kind and attentive. Overall amazing experience! Can’t wait to go back!

What an enchanting place! I love the decor and took some notes for my own home. My party and I were lucky to get seated in the upper section so we had a lovely view looking out of their floor to ceiling windows. I ordered the pineapple express and it came with a show because the waitress lit the rosemary spring in the drink on fire while serving it to me. My party shared the asparagus, grits, biscuits, whipped ricotta and crab hush puppies. Wow. Absolutely delectable. We cleaned every appetizer plate. The 4 of us choose only friend chicken entree's because we've heard so many compliments. I like spice so I asked for a side of the Nashville hot chili oil on the side to dip my chicken into. Yumm!!!! The breading on the chicken was so crispy and the chicken itself was high quality. I had the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese as my sides. I wasn't too impressed. I understand those aren't the main attraction but they were bland and unimpressive. The wait staff and anyone we encountered was friendly. We will definitely return!

We went for a late lunch on a quiet Thursday afternoon. Everyone was friendly, the service was quick, and our group enjoyed every bite of food we had. The fried chicken, shrimp & grits, and fried green tomatoes were incredible. The cocktails were delicious and strong. The vibes were great too - chill and cozy. A+, would go again.
