We have ate here twice since being near this small town and have not been let down. This place is quite busy but these workers here make it appear like all runs smooth. Not a long time to wait from sitting down to having your food start coming out COLD when it’s supposed to be COLD! And HOT when it should be HOT!!! You would think your at your Grandmas house visiting when no one else is there. But your not - You’re at UNCLE JOHNS and they do it up right.
I love this place and we are definitely repeat customers and will be while in town.

Our 1st & last time coming here. The soups were tasteless. The hashbrowns were hard & flavorless. My burger was gross. His chicken fried chicken was not great, the only flavor came from the gravy. He ended up throwing up within 5 minutes in the parking lot. Will definitely not be back here!

I've been eating here for years and never had a bad meal, The foods great! I lived in Belvidere for 15 years and frequented Uncle John's. I live about an hour out now, but I try to stop in when ever I'm close by.

Uncle John's has great comfort food in a very relaxed setting. There is not a bad dish on the menu, and the prices are great (plus, you sometimes find an "extra" egg or pancake on your plate).
Be warned, though - it's not a big dining room and this place is ALWAYS busy. Everyone knows how good it is. The wait is not usually long though.

Stop there to get some french onion soup for lunch it was fantastic been there for breakfast everything is excellent
