Yummy food, the option to eat outside (under an event tent) or indoors (dividers still up at last visit in early August 2021). Fast service. Good place to go.
My one complaint is that the fries are not always hot. I think they batch cook them and keep them in a warmer/ not prepared as they are ordered, and often are significantly cooler than the rest of the hot food that comes out at the same time. However, anytime I have asked for fresh fries, I get them. So, thank you for trying to be resourceful and still please your customers!
Lastly, if you skip dessert here, you should change your practice. Their pies are divine (especially the custard based ones).

Good service and was a very friendly staff. Staff was very accommodating and willing to give recommendations. Food was hit or miss - some was really good and some was just okay. Definitely worth asking about items before ordering. Dessert was very good. Small diner feeling which was nice.

This was our first time at Wayside Restaurant & Bakery. It was recommended by Fecteau Homes which is just down the street. We were favorably impressed from the moment we walked through the door. The service was friendly, warm and genuine. The menu is surprisingly inexpensive. The food was tasty, good temperature and generous portions.

Amazing food at a good price. Breakfast is always served here and is always good. The fried chicken sandwich is fantastic. Kid friendly as well. At times you might have to wait to get seated as this is a local favorite.

Quick friendly service! Large portion size and very reasonably priced! If you’re getting an oil change at the Chevy dealership or point S it’s just a quick walk down the road. Great way to kill some time. I will definitely be back!
