The halibut sandwich measured up to my expectations. Fresh, flaky yet not dry, texture. Old-school vintage 1960s decor which is all part of the experience and charm. A must-try when in Anchorage.

When in Anchorage, this is a great breakfast spot! We loved every bite. Service was wonderful, very friendly folks! My husband had the Reindeer Hash & Gravy with eggs and toast. I had the Low Carb breakfast with scrambled eggs, large sausage patty,v2 large pieces of bacon and sauteed vegetables. Very good flavors for this breakfast lover.

My husband are visiting Alaska via RV and heard great things about this cafe and the Halibut sandwich. Well, it did not disappoint!! The Halibut was done to perfection and the handcut fries were amazing. Our waitress was just the sweetest young lady you will ever come across.

Got the French toast.. it was good although I definitely like their halibut nuggets better. Good service, and seemed pretty quick.

Nothing special really. Typical cafe food that wasn’t bad nor fantastic. Wouldnt come back but didn’t necessarily regret going. Eggs were also undercooked. Asked for over medium and got over easy with not fully set whites. My friend got over easy and his eggs were basically raw. The whites were still clear and looked like literal snot
