Stopped in for a late dinner after a long day of hiking in Baxter. So was very happy to see the portions were amazingly generous. Service was very good and included a water pitcher which is always appreciated.
The fried pickles were not too greasy and had a great pickle flavor. The buffalo chicken salad was a good level of spicy combined with quite fresh vegetables.

Food was really good, sat at the bar until a seat came vacant. Was ignored at the bar after we got our menu and water, bar tender left and other person just stood at the other end of bar and talked to other customers. Service got better after we got our table. This was our 38th anniversary, so we thought we'd try this place. Will not be back.

Finally I found a restaurant that was well staffed and comfortable with excellent food. It felt like the most civilized place on earth on a Friday night. I'll be back.

Been to Orono many times but Woodman's was always closed. Finally got to go and was not disappointed. Had apps at the bar and then dinner at a table. The food was great and the staff was excellent. One point of note, there are no TV's. You'll have to have some good old-fashioned conversation.

It was a first time experience and I could not have been more pleased.
Immediately, my party of three was seated on what appeared to be a fairly busy evening. The staff was warm and welcoming while we decided on our dinner. Portions for price were balanced well. Choice, while slightly trim, were diverse and didn't leave you wanting something "missing". Quality of the meal could not be any better, I'll be returning again for sure.
If you're looking for a cozy atmosphere, you'll leave satisfied with a warm, full belly.
