Crab cake sandwich is the best in Delmarva, strike that, ANYWHERE!!!! (I grew up in Baltimore, so did Jimmy) Order the crab cake sandwich without the roll and a side of fries - filling and extraordinarily delicious. Our extended family insists visiting Woody's every time we stay in our 3rd generation home at the beach. Including my sister's family, with five kids, from Seattle!

30 minute wait for a table but well worth the wait. Fried pickle app was very good. Pickles were done differently then I've had other places. More like shoestring so were crisp and crunchy. Crab cake was the best I have ever had. Big chunks of crab meat, very little holding it together. Delicious!!
The only thing I would do differently is order the appetizers separately from dinner. Everything came out at the same time.

I didn't have a burger or a crab cake, so I probably missed the best that Woody's offers. My son and I both got salads (I wasn't too hungry, he needs something gluten and dairy -free). The salads were very good. Even better was a side order of homemade Old Bay chips, which are definitely keepers (we dipped a few in honey mustard dressing). Best of all was the service: very attentive and sweet.
Kudos to Woody's for being open on a weekday in the off-season - but I'd guess it is a great choice during high season as well.

Life long Marylander here. A seafood loving g one at that. I have to say, they are not kidding about their crabcake. It was fantastic. I'm not saying it was the best I've ever had, but I'll definitely say top 3. Very cool little spot with good food and friendly staff. I highly recommend checking this place out. Even if the parking is limited. It's worth it. I promise.

This was our first time coming here and we had a great experience. We ordered the soft shell crab BLT, Soft Shell Crab platter and the Fried shrimp platter. We also started with the crabby tots. All of the food came out piping hot, in a timely manner and was Delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The place was very busy but the staff didn't miss a beat with caring for their guests. We definitely recommend Woody's in Dewey Beach. Everything was top knotch here.
