LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! Anytime I visit Mississippi, I must stop. Sushi rolls are DELICIOUS. Cashiers are awesome, great customer service.

The food was okay till I discovered a roach crawling on the booth behind me. I stopped eating it was my 4th bite. And looked down and there was a dead one someone had stepped on. I told the person who took our order. She said his name and said it's a roach like it's not the first one they had seen. I totally stopped eating they didn't offer a discount or even tell me not to worry about my bill. I paid for something I didn't even eat. If I'd been alone I would have got up and walked out and not even said another word cause that was Disgusting. I'll never ever go back to such a nasty place.

I don’t know what it is with Batesville, MS food service. I am always left disappointed with the rude servers acting like we are there to just aggravate them. No we just want food. Not for you to just drop a plate on the table then leave without asking if I want another water or if I want some sauce. Don’t get me wrong the food was delicious. It was my waitress that made was could have been a pleasant experience bad. She didn’t even look at us.

I order over the phone and I paid for my order over the phone. When I get to the restaurant to pick up my food, I waited at the counter for 4 minutes before anyone walked in my direction. As the waiter walked toward my direction two women came in behind me. Mind you I was making eye contact with the waiter because I though he was going to assist me with order first. He simply walk right past me and seated the other women. I hate to pull the race card but I can’t help myself to not believe my skin color vs theirs was the reason. However, I will never eat at Yamato ever again. I work hard for my money therefore I will just spend it somewhere else were the customers service isn’t discriminating. The only reason I gave one star, because it wouldn’t let me post this response otherwise I would give this place no stars.
