I ordered their 1882 Grille burger and it was delicious! The onion jam sold me on it initially and I wasn't disappointed. The burger was juicy and flavorful, the bun was soft and fluffy, and the fries were nicely salted and crisp. Service was good too, the waitstaff was friendly and attentive. If I find myself in McMinnville again, I won't hesitate to grab a bite to eat here.

They have two "menus". One is on the first floor, which they are going for a higher level of service, but have a nice covered patio. Upstairs is more casual and includes the bar. Friendly staff, variety of food, average tastes. I had got a salad (they were out of arugula, so was red leaf...strawberries, blue cheese, and croutons.) Nice portion size and tasty. Soup was tasty and was glad they could grab from the 3rd floor. I requested medium rare steak, and it was closer to medium, but they subbed mashed vs. califlower. If you are going to eat here, look at doing a wine tasting at Chris James.

I've had great experiences with 1882 in the past, however, this time the service was questionable. It was a challenge to get our server's attention. It took five of us nearly an hour and a half to get through lunch. That may be okay if we weren't on an hour lunch break. If I hadn't been assertive as she was zipping past our table, I'm convinced we would've been there quite a bit longer. I had the chicken club wrap, and despite it looking like all fresh ingredients, it lacked flavor. That was weird since it had normally flavorful ingredients in it...like bacon, chicken, aioli, and avocado. Bottom line, to get it down, I needed salt...which [sigh] was nowhere to be found on the table and required a perfectly timed attack to get our server's attention. Shouldn't have been a problem had she cared to come ask how our meals were, but she was too busy hanging out at the hostess stand. Will wait a while to go back... can't see that server lasting too long.

Stopped by for a drink and they had a watermelon margarita as their special drink. This was phenomenal. Service was a plus like always especially when your dealing with the owner MO:)
A must anytime you go on 3rd st. Highly recommend ⭐️

Great dining experience and such friendly service! We first met Cindy, who was so sweet and friendly, recommending a great wine. We had Grace as our server and she was just pure awesome! She never made us feel rushed and happily chatted with us about the menu, wine, and life:) We sat on their screened in patio, enjoying the fresh air while staying warm and cozy with the fireplace and heat lamps. Food was great and I would recommend you stop by if you're looking for a memorable spot for a meal!
