Our first time here. It was recommended by another friend.
Oh my! That breakfast chicken fried steak! The food was delicious. Definitely worth the trip again. It’s away from our home but I wouldn’t mind driving here again. Server was friendly and attentive. There was a 30 minutes wait when we got here. Today is Memorial Day so that’s explain the high traffic.

It's not often I give a 5 star rating. Abel's Diner has remained a home style restaurant for 30 years. I have never had a bad meal there. Today we had the chicken fried steak with real potatoes mashed and homemade cream gravy. It was great my sister had the steak and shrimp that looked like the best fried shrimp ever !

Found Abel's by searching for breakfast near me. WOW! What a hidden gem. Not from around here and wouldn't have found them by just driving down the street but so glad we did. Best Eggs Benedict ever! Significant other had a Western Omelet and it was great! We are going back for dinner! If you haven't tried the. You need to.

I had the daily special, open faced roast beef sandwich. The roast beef was piled high! It also was tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were from real potatoes, not dehydrated. The cucumber salad was just the correct amount of sweet and tangy.

To paraphrase the great Yogi Berra, "No one comes here anymore, it's too busy.". It's always a good feed here.
I love coming for breakfast now and again. It's got an old school feel to it. Simple, delicious, and always satisfying. Friendly atmosphere and always feels like home.
