Today 05/22/2022 as my wife and I walked in Rios barbacoa in Schertz Tx it smelled real bad. We went ahead and bought two pounds of barbacoa and as we were heading out we noticed this other person coming back to return his barbacoa saying it was bad. When we got home sure enough the barbacoa was real bad it tasted ROTTEN!!!!! I went back to return it and as soon as i walk in the man from the place says “ I know its bad. It was only one box that was bad. Would you want me to replace your two pounds or do you want your money back?” I just asked for my money back but if he new he had a bad batch and the location is smelling real bad why does he keep selling? For sure im not going there anymore.

Got The Special 4 pounds of barbacoa, it was great. Going early tomorrow to get some chicharones and tamales! Very friendly gentleman at the register and great service!

This place is a rip off. They have specials for all meat packages and they are a reasonable price. So I ordered the moist (fatty) meat, which is less than the all meat, with an avocado and corn tortillas, and they charged me 14.00. Now, if the all meat packages are 9.00, why won't that sell the moist at a package price since its cheaper when ordering the moist meat? So dont buy the moist cause you will be ripped off.
