This is the type of food that makes you randomly say “oh my god” as you’re enjoying it. I called ahead to cut down on the prep wait time but was delightfully greeted by Millie.
Millie is a gem. A national treasure. Yes! She’s so amazing, friendly, explains the menu, passionate about being a good representative of this restaurant. I really hope the owners see this and give her the highest recognition. She made this place memorable for us. Food of course is great !!

This was THE MOST DELICIOUS fried rice I’ve ever had!! My family enjoyed trying local flavors, more familiar flavors, and new foods to us! (Taro noodles were SO delicious and SO fun!!) The staff was friendly and helpful, and SUPER kind! Don’t be afraid of a line. Their is no inside seating, but they keep food coming! We will definitely be recommending this to our friends when they come to Oahu!

I LOVE their food. The Ulu pasta with garlic shrimp scampi is so ONO to the max. The Macadamia crusted fish with mashed potatoes, garlic green beans is fabulous as well. The second occasion that I had their fish mentioned above, I HAD to get extra mashed potatoes because their mashed potatoes are SO good. Their various flavored cheese cakes are awesome too. I totally agree with the other reviews on here regarding Millie, whom tends to the register, she displays outstanding customer service. Right on Millie🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 I recall her offering me complimentary ice tea while I was waiting for my order on one occasion.
I also appreciate that they source their ingredients from local sources, farmers which is a win-win situation. Small businesses really need to support one another here in Hawaii, especially during these trying times. I pray that this small business as well as the farmers that supply them keep thriving and going strong!

This is a great and unique place for takeout! A nice change from typical pasta and Hawaiian foods. I tried the taro noodles with luau leaves, shrimp and the coconut cream sauce - loved it! Topped it off with some macadamia nut crusted cheesecake with cherries also super good! Will definitely be coming back here again.

This place is awesome!! Giant portions of great flavors. (Seriously GIANT portions, 1 plate would easily feed 2) We tried 3 different combinations and all were 5 stars. Don't forget to get the cheesecake!
