The ambiance and wait staff were my favorite parts of the experience! I started with a cocktail (La Flor), which was beautifully made and very delicious. I had to send the Brussel sprout appetizer back because it was so salty. They brought out the guacamole, which was very good. It is pretty spicy, so if that isn’t your thing, you may not get past a few bites. I loved their homemade tortilla chips- very crunchy and fresh. I ordered the Cali Tacos for dinner- again, they were too spicy to truly enjoy all the way through.

Truly an experience. If you are near the Indian creek plaza give it a shot. Reserve a table in advance, seating is limited. Portions are on the small side for the regular dishes, but it is quality and well crafted. No filler pieces here, everything is prepared perfectly and a treat. The staff were warm and inviting, and explained everything on the menu, as well as being attentive and expedient in clearing plates/filling drinks. I recommend it highly

This was the best dining experience that we've had in years. We sat at the bar, and the bar tending staff were engaging and very helpful with suggestions for drinks and food choice. We started with the homemade chips and salsa, and they were out of this world. The variety of flavors in the salsa selections were unique and delicious. Later, I had the fish tacos which were equally amazing in quality and flavor. The selection of tap beers and cocktails and the beautiful building detail top off the experience. We definitely recommend Amano and look forward to going back soon.
