I called on a Friday evening and spoke to Lauren who was accommodating and knowledgeable. She assisted myself with setting up a reservation for Sunday brunch, on Easter. I arrived on time and was greeted by pleasant girls who sat me right away. Food was delicious and server was attentive. Additional staff made sure to come by and check on us at times throughout our meal. And how can I not mention that view. Absolutely stunning. I’ll be back soon.

Was really looking forward to our dinner. We have dined at Micheal Genuine so many times it feels like our own kitchen. So trying Amara should have been a real treat. The restaurant is Beautiful and the location overlooking the water outstanding but that is the only positive things from our meal. We ordered drinks which were good however the appetizers baked oysters were average at best. The real disappointment came with when our meal arrived. We had the grilled fish and it cold, served with white rice with a few peanuts sprinkled on top! After taking a few bites I mentioned to the waiter “ is that is this supposed to be a cold dish? He said no and said let me speak to the chef. We waited and after 10 minutes + we continued to eat what was left. Finally he returned. Did not apologize or even mention it. At this time i just wanted the check and leave. If you go decide to go to Amara pick a cold dish since everything arrives that way anyways

Great location to enjoy good food, great service and spectacular views of South Beach. Outside seating recommended. The food is good but pricey. Seafood and raw bar are recommended.
