Love Assaggios but not today. My Veal Marsala was tough as an old shoe. Should have been able to cut it with a fork but I had a hard time cutting it with a steak knife. My wife’s pasta dish with shrimp had a marinara sauce that was more like just pasta water, like they ran out of sauce and just added water to it. No taste. Mom had a fish and shrimp dish that she loved and her husband loved his spaghetti and meatballs, so we’re splitting the difference with a 3. Maybe it was so variable based on who was cooking at each station. I get that it’s tough out there finding a competent crew but at these prices, it should have been better.

Service and staff (Phil) are ALWAYS great!! Hours are a little short though. They aren't taking reservations so we got in at 7pm. Restaurant closes at 8pm. They were extremely accommodating and we left at 9p.

My granddaughter and I had an outstanding experience at Assagio. The food was heavenly and the service was extraordinary. We will definitely return!
