This place is awesome! From the second you open the door all you smell is smoke meat! My mouth was watering before I even walked in. The food and service was absolutely amazing. I ordered the pulled pork dinner with two sides and all of it was perfect! You could taste the smokiness and the meat and it definitely made me want more after I was done. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for some good homemade barbecue! I will definitely be back!

I had beef brisket w/greens & potato salad (a fair-priced dinner for $17 I think). Brisket - tender, juicy; greens - cooked just enough; creamy potato salad - good bits of potato. All 3 items were done just the way they should be, their flavors came through, not overpowered by too many sauces or spices, just enough added to enhance the basic taste. The way I like it. Very good food! The people running the place were friendly and helpful. AND, they were playing blues music when I was there, a plus. Thank you Atwood Hwy BBQ

Stopped here tonight for dinner take out. We heard this was good barbecue, but wow! Ribs and hot links are excellent! Wings were a little dry, but very tasty. Coleslaw is easily some of the best I've had. Highly recommended, and we might just go back tomorrow for fish!

The $17 brisket dinner comes with two sides. The coleslaw and fries are good, not outstanding. The baked beans are what you’d find in a can at Aldi’s. The brisket, a modest portion, arrived at our table at room temperature; it should have been hot.
Furthermore, if ambiance matters, you will definitely want to look elsewhere.

Everything is SO good here. I feel blessed to have ate here, that’s how good it is. I came here a second time in a week just for the desserts!!!! The banana pudding and fried peach pie are incredible. I can’t wait to try the sweet potato pie. I’m addicted to this place.
