My party had the steak, ribs, prime rib sandwich, and the grilled cheese... the food was to die for. Everything from the soup to the bake potatoes.....I wish I had a place like this closer to home, but willing to travel 2 hours to eat here again. The staff is super friendly, the place was clean. Recommend this place to everyone!

Don't go on a Saturday night unless you love crowds. It's obvious they are doing something right. Just not my bag. Update : We went back after the long pandemic. It appears they never took it seriously and today was no exception. Not a mask in sight. Our group is fully vaccinate so we were not overly concerned. If the pandemic never happened I would say this was a great experience. I just don't like going to some place that played with our safety during the pandemic.

A group from work stopped in for lunch on St. Patrick's Day. I expected the place to be packed, but surprisingly, there was plenty of room and prompt, pleasant service. Knowing that corned beef was waiting for me later, I opted for the fish sandwich special, and I was very glad that I did--it was perhaps the best item I have ever had here. The Backyard is an informal place with relatively open seating areas and a "chatty" atmosphere, and I've seen it quite busy over the lunch hour. If you are on a budget, their specials are quite reasonable. Enjoy!
