The service was fast and the waitress was excellent this time. The bartender took 5 minutes to acknowledge me and 5 minutes to bring me my drink he made the drink and had it sitting near by for the longest time. I think he forgot he made it and where it was suppose to go. It was busy but when I sat down at the bar I sat right in front of him while he was washing glasses. It is not that hard to look up and say hi.

9/7/21 EDIT (5 stars to 2 stars): This place has sadly gone way downhill over the years. Got rid of a few of my favorites like the tamale ($2 option) and the fried avocado taco. Rice is not as good as it used to be and haven't gotten the plantain with it the last few times. Have had multiple times this year where the food has gotten to the table before our drinks. Terribly understaffed and it affects the service. And the very worst part is chips and salsa aren't free anymore. Was fully expecting them to come and when we asked they said it's $2 now. It's really sad because I still enjoy their tacos, but might have to find a new place.
2017: I absolutely love it here! This location has only been open half a year and I've probably already been there at least a dozen times. Have a wide variety of tacos, burritos, etc. Every table gets a complementary bowl of chips and three kinds of salsas. I always go there for the $2 tacos on Tuesdays and Thursdays since it's such a good deal. But be warned, the deal also makes it very busy there, so expect to wait 30-60 minutes for a table around dinner time. To me, it's always worth the wait. Highly recommend the zihuatanejo shrimp or the fried avocado and bacon taco.

We went here last night. Sydney was our bartender and she was nothing short of amazing! While training, she was very attentive while giving us time...the perfect balance. Plus training and being a model employee just teaches good habits so that's awesome too! I absolutely love the chips and sauces here as they are fresh and different. I wanted less of one and more of the others and she made that happen. I admit, I tend to like things a little out of the norm and she met every request with a smile and a "no problem!" The margaritas are expensive but impeccably made so I don't mind paying more. When I said she was the best, she was humble and kind. I cannot compliment her enough. She gets 10 stars and I hope they recognize her as a very valuable asset. I would have went a full 5 stars but sadly, my fish taco was super over-cooked and dry. Of course that was not Sydney's fault and it's definitely my fault for not saying anything. My husband wasn't impressed with the steak but we all loved the chips and sauces and our daughter's shrimp bowl was great! We'll speak up next time and give them a chance to correct.

Food was excellent, pitcher of strawberry and mango margarita was delicious and even the chips and salsa were good- you can tell the chips were not out of a package. I give four star because the service was extremely slow- but when our waiter was there he was very attentive and nice. We went around 4p so it wasn't too busy sat outside so it wasn't all bad- I just wish the service was a tad slower, but honestly I would come here again as it was a very nice and relaxing place to be.
