The service was fast and the waitress was excellent this time. The bartender took 5 minutes to acknowledge me and 5 minutes to bring me my drink he made the drink and had it sitting near by for the longest time. I think he forgot he made it and where it was suppose to go. It was busy but when I sat down at the bar I sat right in front of him while he was washing glasses. It is not that hard to look up and say hi.

9/7/21 EDIT (5 stars to 2 stars): This place has sadly gone way downhill over the years. Got rid of a few of my favorites like the tamale ($2 option) and the fried avocado taco. Rice is not as good as it used to be and haven't gotten the plantain with it the last few times. Have had multiple times this year where the food has gotten to the table before our drinks. Terribly understaffed and it affects the service. And the very worst part is chips and salsa aren't free anymore. Was fully expecting them to come and when we asked they said it's $2 now. It's really sad because I still enjoy their tacos, but might have to find a new place. 2017: I absolutely love it here! This location has only been open half a year and I've probably already been there at least a dozen times. Have a wide variety of tacos, burritos, etc. Every table gets a complementary bowl of chips and three kinds of salsas. I always go there for the $2 tacos on Tuesdays and Thursdays since it's such a good deal. But be warned, the deal also makes it very busy there, so expect to wait 30-60 minutes for a table around dinner time. To me, it's always worth the wait. Highly recommend the zihuatanejo shrimp or the fried avocado and bacon taco.
