The steamed clams came with a mouthful of grit, they must have cooked the shrimp in the same container because they were gritty too. The cream of crab soup was made using claw meat which I don't mind but there was shell in every bite.
There is more to running a restaurant than procuring food, serving it and dancing to the bank with all your money. You have to ensure your processing from supplier to table takes all necessary steps to ensure a delicious and safe meal.
Don't waste your money on a meal here. Go somewhere that will ensure a clean plate of food free from contamination.
As an aside, our waitress was very nice and very efficient, no flies on her.

Excellent service, delicious drinks (Swamp Water is a MUST!) crab Bisque was amazing! the crab cakes are the best thing you’ll ever eat! Super meaty and cooked to perfection! My only regret is not saving room for dessert!

Great service and food. Crab were a good size and full of meat. I also had the crabby burger. It was delicious as were the fries that accompanied the burger. Tasty adult beverages as well.. A place that is definitely worth the trip.

Great local hang. Our server was super friendly, food was delivered quickly, and the drinks were ice cold. What more could you want? Oh was it fresh and delicious seafood? We definitely had that too!

Best seafood in Smyrna. Even better atmosphere to hang out with your family and friends. Watermelon Crawl is my favorite drink. Rest of my family loves the one of a kind, Swampwater! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!
