Great food and staff in a comfortable old farmhouse setting. Stopped in for dinner and sat at the bar and the staff was friendly and attentive. Enjoyed a drink and ordered dinner which was the chicken pot pie. Everything was hot and fresh and loaded with quality ingredients and great flavors. I decided to get a dessert and the coconut cake was an excellent choice with a large slice delivered to me. Everything was an excellent value with the flavor and quality and ample portions for the price. I would definitely stop in again when in the area and would visit more often if it were closer to home.

Update (5/15/22):
Just stay away - I give up on this place. Botched both food and drink orders, and service was embarrassingly abysmal. 18 minutes waiting to order cocktails and then another 25 minutes to receive the order (with incorrect drink); didn't receive wine until long after dinner (again, wrong dish) was served and consumed ... really!?! BTW, had to open the bottle of wine myself - borrowed an opener from the hostess - who sits an unopened bottle of wine on the table and walks away!?! Overheard several servers comment that other table requests/issues were "not their problem". No service teamwork whatsoever. Continues to waste the potential.
(Prior) So want to love this historic place given that I am now a local. Seems to have improved the service, both weekdays and weekends and that is commendable. Menu and quality continues to be good, but not exceptional. The location provides potential that remains unfulfilled.

Really great food and friendly staff. My daughter and I came here for dinner and we were so glad we did. The food was delicious, creative and fresh. We'll definitely be back!

Was able to be seated without reservations! Of course we had to have a cup of mushroom soup. The poached pears on the salad were very delicious...wish there were more on the salad! Staff were all pleasant. Will definitely stop in again next time we're in the area

Have been here several times for lunch , dinner and brunch over the past year. Consistently leave happy and full. If I am not in the mood to try something new and do not feel like possibly being disappointed, I know I can come here. Great cheesesteak egg rolls , the Caesar is good, tasty burgers, fried fish, and French toast. Cobbler never disappoints.
