Friendly staff. Good food. A bit outdated inside, but it's been around for quite a long time. I patronize irregularly, but quite a few times a year. Never a second thought when it gets mentioned as a place to have a few. Overall a good stop. Recommend.

Came in on a Saturday night, tried calling before coming in but nobody answered. Website says kitchen closes at 10. After sitting, the waiter told me the kitchen closed at 9. Either the website needs updating or they didn’t want to serve.
I’m giving 3 stars is because I came here before during the day and the waitress was excellent and so was the food. I had a good experience that time.

$35 for a miniature price of prime rib. Maybe 1/2" thick, staff said 12 oz, at best it may have been 6 or 8 oz...shame on us for not asking the price. It was the Saturday special, but $$ not listed on the menu. Happy to pay $35 for a good piece of Prime rib, but what they served wouldn't have filled a small bun for a sandwich. Shocked when the bill came. Waitress was awesome but food was BELOW average

Gotta UPDATE!!! As promised the Owner made it Right!!! This is why I love this place!!!! Great food and great people!
I love this place, I really do, but you guys really need to work on consistency. I ordered the Fredo tonight. How much butter do you put in this? The homemade noodles are so tasty. Overall flavour spot on! But you can't even take a bite without a swamp of butter dripping down your face feeling like your almost drinking it. Where is a nice creamy Alfredo sauce? It almost feels like the dish is served from leftovers that I reheated from the night before and the butter separates from the cream. Missed the mark.

Took my family for the famed Friday fish fry and was very disappointed. The fish was fine but far from exceptional. The sides were no better than any cafeteria I’ve eaten at. The prices, however, were well beyond the quality of the food we received. There are plenty of excellent places for fish fry in Dane County, and for the money charged I’ll be taking my business to any of the other establishments on this list.
