I've never had southern soul food before and I was really excited to try it out. The price per plate was pretty expensive 20 bucks a plate. I got the fried chicken with collard greens and dirty rice. I was a little disappointed with the fried chicken. It tasted good, but the pieces were small. the collard greens were great I really enjoyed them. They also gave corn bread, which was really good cause it was hot out of the oven, but it was a little burn on the bottom.

This was the best BBQ I've had from a restaurant since I left Texas! The brisket was moist and tender with just the right amount of smoke. The ribs were the same and came clean off the bone. The service was friendly and down home like you'd expect from good old southern hospitality! Keep it up Donnie! We're praying for you and your health. I'll spread the good word to everyone looking for comfort food that hits home!

Very friendly staff and very hearty portions of delicious and fresh soul food. The staff really puts their all into each dish. Recommend the ribs and catfish!
