Dos Locos is the best Mexican Restaurant in the Mid-Atlantic area as far as I'm concerned. I've been dining there for years....dating back to their old location in Rehoboth (Wilmington Ave. I think). Service is an endangered species today and nearly extinct. It thrives in this restaurant. From your greeting at the entrance, to the wait staff and finally the owner checking upon your satisfaction, this place is top-notch. The varieties of fish dishes, particularly the fish tacos are the best I've had on the East Coast. They are easily on a par with California Mexican restaurants, and that's saying a lot. Expertly cooked and seasoned food and Dos Locos doesn't kill you with salt as many such restaurants do. They know how to season. They know how to cook. The food is fresh and wholesome. If you know someone who doesn't think they like Mexican cuisine, bring them here. The place is clean and in the restaurant section, no televisions thank God. I have difficulty finding any cons to this establishment. I don't really care for the music played, but then again, it's the rare restaurant that plays anything I like. 2021 update: something happened, but it's just an average Mexican restaurant now, catering to tourist tastes. Too bad, because it was phenomenal once. Hoping they can return to their former glory

Good food, great service. The swordfish was perfect. Others also enjoyed the deconstructed tacos. Carlos our waiter was very attentive helpful. Beware the over-sweet martinis. I'm sure they will make less sweet drinks if you ask.

This isn’t Mexican food at all. The mini tacos are the same kind that come in a bulk box at Costco. The “Mexican” options are what people who boil (and over boil) chicken think Mexican food is. Our server, Tracie, was the only thing I liked about the place. We won’t be going back. But thank you, Tracie! You are great and deserve a raise.
