In our quest to find the best seafood on the island, we visited Fishcamp. Spoiler alert - this ain't it. However, we had a nice time. The food was good, but not "the best". Wait staff and employees were all excellent and helpful. The setting out back facing the water is lovely and a nice place to relax while you wait for a table. Two musicians started playing around 6pm, and they were very good, also. Overall, a nice experience and good restaurant I would recommend if you want a relaxing setting and some seafood.

Great view of the marsh! Food is really good. I had fried green tomatoes for an appetizer, and they were topped with a really tasty pimento cheese and balsamic drizzle that worked well together. I had the scallops which were delicious, however, they did have some grit in them. For it to be one of the most expensive dishes on the menu, I was disappointed to find grit. However, I have come to expect it with scallops nowadays. My son had a fried flounder platter that was great and had huge servings. I would definitely come back here. We had a reservation for dinner for the indoor area, but were able to sit outside and enjoy the view and the breeze. A good experience overall. Highly recommend! Definitely get there early, get a reservation, or be prepared to wait. The parking lot gets full fast.

Great vibe. Friendly staff. Nice views, food was good. I had the fried seafood combo, portion could have been a little better. Lobster bisque was creamy and had decent chunks of meat. We enjoyed the mussels. Both the bread pudding and key lime pie were delicious.

For the first time, We made a reservation and sat inside. I would suggest that you get on the wait and sit outside as we have done in the past. The outdoor dining experience is wonderful here. The food is fine! But, sitting inside you miss the fun atmosphere- the music, the beautiful scenery, the lively vibe, etc. We had a variety of oysters, risotto and crab cakes. I think the crab cake appetizer is better than the entree. The risotto was ok. The seafood in the risotto was good! The kids meals were on par with what you would get anywhere.

During our vacation week at Hilton Head, we ate at a number of restaurants. This was my favorite. The outdoor seating and live entertainment were awesome. Tremendous setting. The food was just as good as setting. We started with calamari and pickles, which the table agreed was the best each of us had ever had. I also had a couple of Blue Point oysters from the Chill Bar. Excellent! My dinner choice was the Roasted Flounder dish with spinach and crab meat served on risotto. Wow. I absolutely loved the dish. To a person, everyone was very satisfied with their choice. The service was first rate too. If there was one issue to pick at, it would be the water which was not good. But that isn't the restaurant at fault. You will love it here!
