I think this might be one of the finest diner's in all of America. The quality of the staff is unmatched in it's authenticity and perfection of service. A restaurant of this standard is a rare gem and should be cherished by the community and all who stumble upon it. I will definitely be back every week to do my part to ensure it's continued and hopefully inevitable success.

I was very disappointed with my meal I had on Mothers Day. I ordered the T-Bone steak, mashed potatoes, toast and a salad. The salad was excellent. Only thing you could tell it came from a bag. Fresh would be better. The gravy was to salty and real potatoes also would have been better. The steak was super thin, I ordered medium rare. It was over cooked had no taste except the freezer burnt taste. Had no flavor at all. If you are going to offer a T-bone steak make sure it is the real thing should be 11/2-2" thick to be cooked properly. Yes it only cost 12.99. But it was a terrible meal. If your going to offer food it needs to be fresh. I use to go to Hometown all the time to eat. New owner needs to step it up if you want people to return. Also I would have prefered a bake potato and a roll instead of cold toast.

Excellent potato pancakes! Even reheated at home was just as good. Was so excited to see it on the menu. Not many places have it.

Shelby our waitress was terrific! Great service, food was hot, fast and fresh. Custom ordered one of our dishes, was above and beyond! Very satisfying, delicious, large portions and affordable!

Seems EVERY time I order take out breakfast I order the Slammer.
They can't remember it comes with bacon AND sausage, they think sunny side up means over and no yolk to dip toast into..... generally it's disappointing at best.
Also ordered a grand total of 9 pancakes and they wanted $33 dollars. Seriously?????
$33 dollars for 9 pancakes!!!!!!!
I'm done hoping they get it right.
