Whz Bang Sampler. Pork, chicken BBQ rice, beans, fries.

I ordered 1 LB pork and beans to go.
This place could use more friendly staff. They are not unfriendly just too serious.

Hair in food. Food was terrible. The meat has no smoke flavor. Taste like steamed meat, that's how they wrap it, and let it finish cooking by way of steam in foil. Staff not friendly. French fries were soggy. Actually would rate 0 stars

This was one of the best BBQ plates I’ve had in a long time. There was no fat in my meat or my husbands. The rice was outstanding as well as the potato salad. The plate came with a piece of homemade pound cake which was so good that we took a whole one home with us.

Good food. Home town atmosphere. Large plate not noticably different from medium. Same number of sides, but a solid BBQ meal for sure.

Was in area for a couple of days, tried Hooks and didn't disappoint.
Good food. Drive thru was pretty quick. If ever in area again, will stop to eat again!

We live almost 4 hours away and come here as often as we can. The service is always great. The ribs are our favorite and reasonably priced for what you get. You know it's good bbq when it doesn't need sauce!
Bonus: the ribs are even better the next day, reheated in the air fryer. Yum!

Great BBQ, and many sides to choose from. The fried okra tasted fresh, very good. Good value too.

This place is where I go when I have had a long week, and I want reliability tender, and juicy ribs. I hope everyone tries it at least once. But there sauce can be a required taste.

Great ribs! Everything else is ok. Pound cake is delicious, but always a raw spot in the middle.

Damn good. Sauce is awesome. Cole slaw is second to none. THE BEST FRIED OKRA THAT I HAVE EVER EATEN.
