If you're thinking of eating here...don't do it. I had a friend visiting from out of town and this is where we chose to have dinner. I ordered a steak and vegetables. The vegetables tasted like water and appeared to have come fresh from the microwave. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out medium well. I apologized and told our server that it was overdone. A few minutes later, a lady comes out of the kitchen and slammed the plate down, telling me that I was wrong and it was fine. Apparently she was the owner and from reading other reviews, this low class behavior is a common occurrence. It was a charming location though so hopefully someday it will go to someone with a little class and professionalism. Read the yelp reviews for many similar stories.

This place was absolutely charming and the food was down home goodness. I am not a fan of beans, but the northern beans were really good! Everything was very well prepared. The service was a little slow, but friendly. A great place to go out with family.

I ate here for the first time tonight and loved everything about it!! It has a quaint Southern charm! The staff was friendly and super accommodating. The food was delicious and the hush puppies and northern beans were a unique touch!
