It has been awhile since we have eaten here. It was excellent. The service, food and ambiance made for a wonderful evening. Our server Mai was attentive with great timing. The crab bisque was one of the best tasting we’ve had. Splitting a steak was the way to go. It was plenty of meat along with the great salt baked potato and green beans with walnuts.

My first time ever official 3 course meal. Bread, soup/salad appetizer, entree and side dishes and finished it off with a dessert. Worth every dollar. Delicious food and setting for different occasions. The server I had was friendly and helpful. I got a citrus chicken tortilla soup, KC strip with fries and creamy bacon corn, and creme brulee. 🤌

Took family for dinner this evening expecting a wonderful meal. Not so much. J Gilbert’s took a huge nose drive. The “Wood-fired” Ribs were flavorless and seemed like the were boiled rather the grilled. Couldn’t finish them. The Lobster Bisque was so spicy, my father in law, who likes a bit of spice, couldn’t take more than one spoon full. Our server never inquired about how things tasted. The final blow was the check tossed on the table, no offer for dessert. Disappointing evening.
