First time trying this restaurant. It blew my expectations out of the water. The goat was absolutely amazing, and the ox tail was better than my grandma's (sorry grandma). If you have yet to try this place, you really should.

Great place. Food was fantastic. My daughters and I had a wonderful lunch date there. Very reasonably priced for a lot of food. The owner is so nice. We will definitely be back!

Very clean and spacious. Food is authentic and is a good representation of the island. The ambiance is awesome as well.
Definitely enjoyed eating here and will do again.
I had Jerk chicken with rice and peas (curry gravy on top).

I love this place! I just love that this type of cuisine is in Mandan now! I ordered the Curry Chicken and it was beyond amazing. The portion sizes are enough for two meals... but I could not stop myself and ate my whole plate. My husband got the Jerk Chicken and it has that spice and slow burn of Jamaican Jerk chicken. It was delicious. He also ate his whole plate. We also got the beef meat pie/turnover and wow I could eat those all day. I ended with the fruit cake which I took home after over eating. If you like fruit cake, this will blow your mind! I also ordered an island punch/rum punch and that was so good. They carry Red Stripe lager which is so traditional of the Caribbean. I highly recommend this place. The atmosphere was relaxed and the food and drinks we great.

Staff was very friendly atmosphere was nice. There is a ton of parking nearby and it is easy to find. We ordered the jerk pork and the curried chicken.
The pork was 9/10 great! A little bit of heat on the end and tender, great portion size.
The chicken was extremely tender and the flavor was amazing I also loved the veggies that came with it. The only con for the chicken was that a large potion of it was bone, so the edible portion of the chicken when compared to pork was much smaller.
My only overall complaint for this meal was that the rice was pretty dry, it seems like it’s been sitting on heat for awhile with no liquid added, and the beans has shriveled a little and split from the heat. Overall if the rice had a sauce it would have been better, but I maybe only ate 1/2 cup.
We really liked the cabbage it had excellent seasoning and great texture. We also enjoyed trying a traditional soda! They have some Jamaican beers if you’re eating there.
Recommendations, it would be nice if the staff knew a bit more about the tradition/process of the food we’d love to learn more about the dishes we ordered. A tasting menu where you could try a few items would be amazing!
We will be back, and if you’re in town it’s worth a stop!
