It is one of the few restaurants opened on Sunday eve. Excellent sushi.and other Japanese foods. Good cocktails too. I had the spicy salmon roll and the side salad. The salad was very good. My friend had the deluxe tempura which was also very good. It was all outdoor seating so bring a jacket.

We went here on the second day of our trip and went again tonight (2 out of 5 dinners for us) because we liked it so much. When my wife and I were first married we had a sushi restaurant in LA that we loved that served these crispy rice cakes with spicy tuna on top, but since moving to Northern California we haven't been able to find them anywhere. Japanese Grandma's has them, and they're great! We were only able to do takeout but I'm told they have a cute garden area in the back where you can eat, too. I'd definitely recommend it if you're in Kauai and enjoy sushi!

Enjoyed our lunch here. Cute patio space with lots of shade. The poke bowl was excellent. Ramen was good, but nothing to write home about. Server was nice, but very busy as she was the only one taking orders for their fairly large patio. Great little spot, but would probably stick to poke bowls and sushi next time.
