Lucille is a great stop when in Madison- but make reservations in advance on weekends! First, the space is perfect for evening dining (we came around 9PM). It has a great chill ambiance and an infectious energy, especially if you sit on the second level. Second, the food is exactly what they promise... High quality and delicious! Ample portions and full of flavors! The only drawbacks we're that our server was rather indifferent when we asked questions or placed or order. She was not rude by any means, just neutral, but it was probably the end of a long shift. The other problem is that the food came out at very staggered intervals. The bodega bowl came out first, and that required the least prep time so it was cold by the time the rest of the food arrived. The steel pan pizza, which the server warned us would take 30 minutes and be longer than the other orders, came out quickly and then the other hand tossed pizzas took another 15 minutes or so to arrive. The food was great, even if it had cooled, but the coordination of arrival to the table could have been better. Overall,.a great experience though!

Overall, it was average. Nothing really made Lucille stand out from other trendy restaurants. The food was decent but for the price I would have expected something a bit more special. The interior decor was pleasant and well kept; service was well timed and friendly. I would go again, but it would not be my first pick.

My favorite pizza in Madison, especially the deep dish. Love that they have the option for vegan cheese which was tasty too. Visiting at Christmas is a must because the decorations are so cool! I also love the basement bar that is an old bank vault and that is a super unique spot to Madison.

Very cool spot. Our second time here. Tasty cheese curds, excellent garlicky ranch. Yummy burrata salad. Got steel pan and thin crust. Is it the best we've ever had? No, that's why 4 stars, but it is very good and we grade pizza harder than average admittedly. Excellent service and cocktails.

Sampled drinks and apps here and all came out great. Loved the Pride weekend theme they had for their drink menu. Nice outdoor area covered with a tent so we were comfortable even when raining. Dog friendly outside!
