I've eaten here all my life, and one thing I can say, is they are consistent. They always have the same food, with the same ingredients, and the same delicious taste. They always have the kind staff, with the same warm smiles. Personally, I believe that they have some of the best pizza in town, maybe the whole state. They are kind of expensive though, and we spent about 20$ per person to eat there. But, they have far more than pizza, from sandwiches to salads, soups and pastas. They also had amazing desert, and though it took awhile to get sat down, and for our food to come out, it was well worth it. But, for however good their food was, No one out pizzas the Hut.

Lived all over Montana and have always enjoyed Mackenzie River. Matter of fact I’m a River rewards member. But of the locations I’ve eaten at none are as bad as the Helena location. The wait staff just is not friendly, and most of the time you just feel ignored. There is a particular waitress that we have had multiple times, and if she is working than you are better off just taking your drinks into the back and refilling them yourself because she won’t do it. I get being understaffed, but this particular staff member won’t even ask how your food was, or tell you to have a nice day when handing you your bill at the end of your stay. Just not acceptable especially when you waited an hour for your food. If you’re living Helena and are looking for a good Mackenzie River experience you’re better off driving the hour to butte. You’d probably get your food faster.

Food is really good and unique. Aesthetic is fun and interesting. Too many basic things missed by service staff for a 5-star review. More training would fix that.
