We arrived without a reservation and was still seated promptly at a nice corner table despite it being New Year's weekend. The serving staff were all pleasant and attentive. All four meals at our table received good reviews. We eat there often and heartily recommend Maggie's Galley.
01/09/2022 - Just had another excellent meal. Blackened salmon, sweet potato Casserole, and cheddar cheese grits. Our server was top notch!
03/26/2022 - Arrived again without reservation and had about a 20 minute wait for a table, which was reasonable considering day of week and time. Had the same meal except swapped out cheddar cheese grits for collard greens. Salmon was prepared perfectly and obviously fresh. Had the same wonderful server and the same excellent service.

Delicious food, wonderful sweet staff, great portions, and what is quite possibly the cleanest and best smelling bathrooms. I know the last part is strange but I know if the bathrooms are that spotless.. so is the kitchen. Prices were very fair. They have great options from full dinners, half sizes, lunches, and kids meals. I didn't go broke with my family of 4 eating seafood, and that's amazing in it's self. Definitely with a stop

Everything was cooked well. Seafood lasagna was a little bland but salt and pepper made it good. The fried mushrooms and grilled shrimp were very good. Atmosphere was nice. Easily one of the best restaurants we have eaten at in Western North Carolina.

We absolutely enjoyed our lunch dining experience at Maggie’s Galley! The blackened flounder Reuben sandwich was fantastic and the sweet potato casserole side dish was yummy. The shrimp PoBoy sandwich was a hit with our grandson. The High Country Shrimp with Grit Cake was delicious. Our server, David, made us feel welcome and took excellent care of us. He gave us just the right amount of attention and never seemed rushed. We will definitely come in again!
