Food here is really good. Mercedes is a friendly and courteous waitress. Staff also came and checked on me during my meal. I'm never disappointed with my breakfast. Highly recommend the Benedict. Yes it is an older diner and bathrooms are old too. People complain about the 2.6 fee on the ticket. Have you looked at gas prices lately? Have you seen any other prices go up.? It's no different here. Fees go up everywhere. If you can't afford the extra $3 in service fee to keep our local businesses in business then stay home and stick with chef boyardee.

It is okay. Probably won’t go again. It likely suits the needs of folks that don’t cook at home and need a simple meal but I want better than I can make when I go out and at $10 for an egg breakfast….I would enjoy better quality. Service was very good and friendly and lots of folks seemed to know each other which also is important, just not what I needed.

I am a breakfast regular to the main street cafe. In my opinion it has the best breakfast in hartford and an extremely friendly staff! Would highly recommend!

Found out they are not related to the Main Street Cafe in West Bend. Very good food for a reasonable price. Lots of choices for breakfast, lunch & dinner, along with a Friday night fish fry (fried or baked) & tasty Mexican dinners too. Everyone will find something to eat, because there are so many choices. Don't know if they have a kids menu. Very friendly employees. Keep drinks refilled, if there are refills. Food is served hot as it should be. At bottom of the receipt there is a processing fee cost added on if you choose to pay with a credit card, but fee is taken off if you pay cash.
