Poad's Pizza Hartford WI

An impromptu dinner with friends took us to Poad's Pizza on a Saturday night. Poad's is a small, simply appointed restaurant in Hartford. The place was empty when we got there but filled up quickly. There was only one server and she was very attentive and super friendly. Our food came out quickly and was made to perfection. The owner even brought out our friend's pizza for a quick OK because they like their pizza basically burnt. The owner happily took it back for another few minutes in the oven to accommodate our friend's wishes. Our pizza was very good unburnt. We were not ushered out quickly when the restaurant closed. As a matter of fact we were encouraged to take our time to enjoy our evening with our friends while the owner took care of closing. We were there well beyond the doors being locked. It was a very pleasant experience at Poad's. We would highly recommend the restaurant for either dining in or delivery.

Moved from hartford to south Milwaukee in 2007. Back now.This place was amazing. Glad to see its still there. 2021.....what happened to the fish! It looks like frozen. Breading is way to thin. Use to get thick crispy breading. Weak on the tartar sauce amount also. 2 tiny dipping cups for 10 pc "bucket". Need a better bread choice for the hot sandwiches . So tough to chew. Cant go wrong with any pizzas. You use to be better.

After reading other people's reviews, my family was really torn in what to order between the pizza and the chicken. In the end, we couldn't decide so we ordered both. Honestly, couldn't pick between the 2 after ordering either. Amazing pizza and the chicken was fantastic. Will definitely be ordering again!
