Decent late night Mexican restaurant.
The draw here is that Mama Margies is open 24 hours. Its a great place for a late night meal, its much quieter than some of the other 24 hour Mexican bar/restaurants and the food is a step above the fast food places.
This location has consistently been quiet when dining late at night. I've never had a bad experience here and at one point was visiting regularly while they were offering 99 cent tacos. Keep an eye out for specials sometimes during rodeo or fiesta.
I've tried a few of the plates here and the Mexican food is decent enough. The prices are fair, portions a good size and self serve chips and salsa are available for dine in. With a few locations around town open 24 hours its a great place for that late night meal.

Good food and Excellent Cashiers...
Long wait time even with calling in order to go. Price is average. Fresh self serve chips and salsa. Same with iced tea.
Note to the Manager
It wouldn't hurt for them to hire more staff to (1) bus tables (2) offer drink orders from those standing in line. To make the wait more pleasant. (3) consider using outdoor patio for to go orders. Anything to keep us from having to STAND in line for 20 minutes.

I love this location. I always stop here on my way through town. They have always had great customer service. The staff is friendly and kind. The food is very good to me and doesn't taste like it was all frozen then microwaved. The price points for food is also reasonable.
