Before COVID I was lucky enough to travel nearly continuously for eleven years, and in that time, it became apparent to me that microbreweries were an incredible way to connect to a place and to a group of people. Melms Brewing is everything I love about beer, breweries, and people. Though unassuming from the exterior, I was greeted warmly, engaged regularly, and welcomed into what was clearly an existing group of regulars. The beer was excellent and the people were lovely. Melms stirred in me the exact connection to a place and to a community that I sought, and I'm positive it would do the same for you. Do not pass on this gem, because the reason we brew beer and commune to drink it can be found here in abundance. I can't wait to be back when I ramble in the right direction.
