Very good charbroiled cheeseburger and excellent chocolate malt. After a recommendation from a customer who knew we would be passing right by it on our way to the UP, we are so glad we tried it. From the first sip of the malt, while waiting for our burgers, to the first bite of the burger with the outstanding toasted bun, all the way through to the last bite. We kept commenting to each other the great flavors we were enjoying!!! This will be A REGULAR STOP now on our way home each trip. As others have commented, no other sides are needed. Simply a simple cheeseburger with GREAT TASTE!

We make this a must stop when we do our annual motorcycle ride around Lake Michigan.
Their burgers and cubed steak sandwich are great, and the hamburger buns are fantastic.
I also recommend the butterscotch shake or malt.
If you go there and there is a wait time for your order, you won't regret it.

Loved them in the past. Something was off on Saturday the food wasn't that good. It was really bland which isn't normal. No grill flavor to the burgers and the malts were just flavored milk. Maybe it was just a bad day and will try again cause they been the best in the past. Service was quick and friendly.

I cannot say enough good things. Mickey Lu's has been making my favorite burgers since I was a kid. I recently stopped there after years and (unlike many things from my youth) it held up!
Some of my family members even take special trips from Milwaukee just for some burgers.

I called to see whether or not they were open/busy and they were pretty weird about it. One girl handed me to a manager 🤣. The food is very small portions for the price. Basically Zesty's in smaller quantities. They did warn us though and that was helpful. Food was pretty good but they only have about 4 items on their menu.
I was told this was a great place but I'd much rather go to Clyde's Drive-in in Manistique for way better service and better shakes.
