First time trying this place, I’ve seen good reviews so I thought ‘why not!?’ Going back I see reviews on only the soul food ....so to start I waited 45min for my food I could’ve just cooked myself at this point ...second I ordered jerk chicken and brown stew chicken ...I’ve never in my life had Caribbean food so bland I mean NO sauce at all, jerk chicken had NO spice or flavor, it tasted like baked chicken and I even asked for EXTRA sauce. The rice and peas was good ...the portion of banana pudding is definitely not worth $3.99. This is terrible

Bourbon shrimp was delicious. The yams, mac and cheese, and potato salad was also good. I didn't care for the collard greens, but may try them again. May have been an off day. Overall I will try this place again.

The food is amazing here. Nothing like some good soul food. Chris is always respectful greeting my husband and I. The restaurant itself can use a lil fine tuning but no denying the soul food is delicious and the prices are great. I’m in there at least once a week and I always order the 2piece whitey fish,5 shrimp and 1 side combo which is usually Mac n cheese.
Go 2 Momma G’s and pick up your combo now!

Greens has no flavor , Macroni is basic and small portions , yams was good food was good. But they give tarter sauce in packets and this supposed to be a soul place , I’ll stick to southern blues in Baltimore. I paid $19 for all small portions of food . Waste of $19.

Truth be told.... I was very skeptical of how the food was going to be. We waited about 30mins due to door dash and the Catering orders..... We wanted to order Oxtails but they ran out. We ordered Brown Stew and Fried Chicken instead and WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. Their portion size was definitely enough for 2 people a platter🤗 and again Food was very Good. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu 😋
