First time trying this place, I’ve seen good reviews so I thought ‘why not!?’ Going back I see reviews on only the soul food ....so to start I waited 45min for my food I could’ve just cooked myself at this point ...second I ordered jerk chicken and brown stew chicken ...I’ve never in my life had Caribbean food so bland I mean NO sauce at all, jerk chicken had NO spice or flavor, it tasted like baked chicken and I even asked for EXTRA sauce. The rice and peas was good ...the portion of banana pudding is definitely not worth $3.99. This is terrible

Bourbon shrimp was delicious. The yams, mac and cheese, and potato salad was also good. I didn't care for the collard greens, but may try them again. May have been an off day. Overall I will try this place again.

The food is amazing here. Nothing like some good soul food. Chris is always respectful greeting my husband and I. The restaurant itself can use a lil fine tuning but no denying the soul food is delicious and the prices are great. I’m in there at least once a week and I always order the 2piece whitey fish,5 shrimp and 1 side combo which is usually Mac n cheese. Go 2 Momma G’s and pick up your combo now! “ I was not paid nor endorsed for my honest opinion”!!
