I guess underwhelmed is the word to describe our experience. We were expecting more of an experience from such a historic place. The crab cakes (appetizer) were small, dry and hidden under wilted lettuce. We each ordered the halibut for the main course and it was very over done. I got the sense they were under-staffed, and I get it, all restaurants are in this economic climate, but it isn't fair to the patron to still get charged very high prices.

I made a 10 am reservation. Be forewarned. They blamed me for having made a reservation and the hostess made a BIG deal about serving me because apparently breakfast is over at 10. They need to fix their system if they close at 10 and not be rude to people who just wanted to have a nice breakfast.

We went for a celebration lunch! We were a bit concerned since they stopped service at 2 and it was 1:40 but they sat us and made us feel welcome! Both of us ordered the specials -Philly Cheese Steak & Fish Tacos! Food was delicious. Server was nice but only one on and seemed a bit distracted; however, we really enjoyed our lunch and would go back!
