I have seen a few different restaurants in this location over the years but this is by far one of the best. I give the food three and a half stars out of five stars. All in all it's about the third best restaurant in Portage. 1# Trails Lounge. Dinner 2# The red apple. Breakfast / lunch 3# Hollywood Family Restaurant. Breakfast.

Normally I have a phenomenon experience and today was the most ridiculous experience I ever had the righteous was short didn’t really care about people‘s order didn’t really care about much I get she was by herself and really wasn’t that busy but it was steady I said there for 25 minutes then the lady said no we don’t order that way you have to have a side of starch which I just wanna bread she says we can’t do that I will have to call the owner and I said I always order this and she knows is that also when I told her that we’re going to go somewhere else she said OK good and then we pay just for the coffee I will remember not to go back when she is working most of the time it’s excellent great service but this time around ruined my morning. My order is one of a kind six eggs bacon sausage patties and white pieces of toast and only when the owner is there do I order hashbrowns because there’s a certain way I like them I don’t know what was so hard but the lady gave me a hard time at the table and looking over my wife’s shoulder as she’s looking at the menu to choose what she wants I don’t want this experience to ruin that restaurant because it’s normally great food fresh people are nice but then this happens and it makes me not want to go there because I don’t wanna flip out on the wrong person. I do recommend this restaurant but when this righteous work she’s older kind of skinny and tall is not recommending to deal with her but anybody else is a great

Breakfast menu is best! Try the Eggs Benedict and please please please do yourself a favor and get the hashbrowns! So tasty. 😍 And the waffles?!? 12/ 10. Get the waffle. It's delicious. And it has powdered sugar. Butter and syrup gang, where you at?!
