North and South Seafood & Smokehouse Reviews Verona WI
Reviews of North and South Seafood & Smokehouse Verona WI

Nice meal! The wife and I started with a bowl of excellent gumbo. Thick with sausage and spicy enough to tickle the ears but not overwhelming. I had the brisket sandwich with blue cheese and bacon which was smoked delicious. A few bites a bit dry but still tasty. Wife had ahi tuna tacos which she said were great. Warning the tuna is nearly raw by design if this is not your taste. Key lime pie was authentic southern. Service top notch.

Nice change of pace from fast food.
They have lots of choices on their intriguing menu. Our salad and tacos were very substantial and good tasting.
I'm sure their dinner menu is also.
Easy off and on Hwy 18.

This is by far our favorite place to eat. I have been a huge supporter from the start. We use to always eat at Joey's Seafood years ago then they were bought out and renamed and North and South Seafood & Smokehouse won't disappoint. We have never had anything bad off the menu and the staff is always friendly and attentive. Armadillo Eggs, Firecracker Shrimp, Brisket, Pulled Pork, Hot links, BBQ sauces, all of it is great. Oh, and they have the best fried pickles! We love the atmosphere also. Both Verona and West side are very welcoming from the time you walk through the front entrance.

Huge selection, many meats made many ways, meat by the pound, this place has more than you can handle in a night and will have you coming back for more. Service is casual and the food is worth it, stick to rail drinks as their specialty ones aren't on par with other bars, sans the old fashion and the food. Had Tennessee ribs and brisket, beans and cornbread, and everything else on the menu, don't sleep on the dry rub ribs.

Fun evening eating dinner on the patio. Our Cajun Catfish bites we're really tasty! We were in the mood for seafood, so we both ordered Salmon which reflects our higher price per plate. Most entrees were under $15 each.
