Good place to eat. I haven't been in a couple years but I felt they weren't quite the same as they used to be. When I was going here regularly I feel like the menu was exciting and trendy and always had something new and special. This menu was pretty much exactly as it was when I was last there and they're weren't any seasonal specials. I'm vegan and there were no actual vegan options unless you removed the cheese or protein from a dish. Ended up with a tasty but fairly small salad since it was the only one that didn't come with both chicken and cheese. I think the waitstaff was new, we had to ask for an additional plate and silverware for someone at the table. We weren't offered water or refills on the bread. Overall, experience was fine, nothing to really complain about, but nothing to make me rush back there when most restaurants have at least one vegan option these days.

Took a large group of young men participating in The Great Race out for our final night all together prior to the start of the race. Service was top notch. Food was great. Atmosphere was awesome. Never heard of the place before this. Would definitely go again!

Great atmosphere! Not terribly busy for a Thursday night. My friend and I sat at the bar and the bartender Kevin took care of us. He made some great recommendations for food and drinks and was very pleasurable to speak with.

This restaurant is fantastic! I have several severe food allergies that make dining out hard. Our server Kevin and the head chef were amazing in making sure our food was safe and cross contamination was not an issue. I highly recommend this place!!

Walked in to the bar during happy hour and barely anyone was seated at the bar. The bartender with a rainbow bandana as a mask made eye contact with me as I sat down, said nothing, and proceeded to start a lengthy conversation with the man sitting next to me. I waited to see if he was going to acknowledge me and several minutes went by without even a glance in my direction. I had to loudly ask if I could get a drink when he acted surprised and claimed he thought another bartender was taking care of me...despite seeing me walk in with my coat and take a seat. I walked out. Horrible service. No wonder NYAJ will soon be out of business. I gladly took my business next door to Cork and Rye where I was acknowledged as soon as I sat at the bar with friendly service. Avoid this chain if you can!
