I had the brisket, my niece had the chicken. The plates were generous in size to say the least and unbelievably delicious. I'm a barbecue aficionado, and this brisket was fall apart tender. A most excellent find. I must say. Don't wait, just go! :-) Thanks again for an excellent lunch. May I be back in Maui so that I may visit you again.

OMG! I went to Ohana for lunch today and had the brisket plate......... PHENOMENAL! The brisket was tender, flavorful, and just melted in your mouth. The macaroni potato salad was also tremendous! After devouring it I asked who does the cooking because I had to personally tell them how delicious it was. The service is exceptional as well. Family run restaurant, and it shows because it's just a breathe of fresh air from all the employees. I also had some hand scooped ice cream that they also serve. I wish I had taken a picture of the food, but I dug in so fast it couldn't stand a chance! Thank you so much for everything today. I ate around 1pm and haven't been hungry the rest of the day lol.

Great little family owned business that just opened up in makawao town. These guys are doing it right small place with a small menu. But you are getting fresh high quality food. My girlfriend and I had the beef brisket plate which I had with the green salad and it comes with 2 scoops of rice and we also ordered the roast pork plate with potato macaroni salad and two scoops rice. Let me say I am picky about roast pork and potato Mac salad both items from this place were excellent. They make it the old school way. We enjoyed all the food and it's a nice little place in the heart of makawao. Give these guys a try the customer service is excellent, the food is great and they have some great snacks and treats and they have a great selection of desserts. I will definitely be going back.
