What an absolutely wonderful meal. First, our server Alec was amazing. Made recommendations, was very attentive, and had a great personality that just made our dining experience even better. Second, our food was also amazing. The cocktails, appetizers (the hushpuppies were astounding), entrees and dessert...everything was well cooked and tasted delicious. The only recommendation that I would have is to have some fans or more air circulation inside next to the windows as it was incredibly hot. But other than that, it was a lovely memorable experience.

This restaurant was great. Food was tasty. We had the muscles and clams, PEI oysters and tuna poke. However, what made our experience incredible was our server Brittany. So very personable and engaging. She’s the epitome of customer service. Couldn’t have picked a better waitress. Can’t wait to go back next time we are in town.

Great dinner at the Old oyster factory. Short wait to dine outside but we got a drink on the back patio while we waited. I had crab cakes and my husband had the catfish. Both were excellent. Portion sizes were reasonable and not too big. Had room for dessert. Will definitely return.

Beautiful restaurant with a view. Went after 8:30 to just snack on some appetizers. Front house staff attentive and helpful. Server seemed overwhelmed and we were left with little to no service. Ordered the local oysters, and not one was bigger than a quarter. Asked for crackers and never received them. Finally asked a different server and received them 15 min later. Peel and eat shrimp were sat moving around on a plate with no sauce or effort into plating. Tasted like they were frozen. Whole experience was abysmal. Wanted to just pay our $90 tab for less than sub par food and get out as soon as possible. Not the ideal experience we wanted for our first dinner in Hilton head. Would not recommend but maybe we hit them on a off night and with a staff shortage.

The view of the marsh is what makes this place a must do. I ate here for lunch. I ordered baked oysters, and I didn't get most of the toppings that the menu stated that they came with. I basically got oysters topped with breadcrumbs. Luckily, the oysters themselves were delicious. I had shrimp and grits, which were pretty good. Service was great. It is a neat place, but if I go back, I will make sure that if I pay $16 for 6 oysters that I will get more than just breadcrumbs. I would go back again to give it another try. . Lunch was a LOT less crowded than dinner time, so I would suggest going for lunch. The prices are still kinda high for lunch, but the view is beautiful.
